How we use your data

Under Article 8 of Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act, we tell you the following before you provide any data. Last updated October 2026. This English version is a translation for reference; if it differs from the Chinese version, the Chinese version prevails.

Who collects it

What we collect and why

Table bookings, private hire, exhibition applications and shop orders: your name, mobile number, email, delivery address, any notes you write and files you upload. We use them to confirm bookings, contact you, arrange the space, ship orders and reconcile payments (specified purposes: contracts and similar legal relationships, consumer protection, and business and technical information).
Payment confirmations: the last five digits of your account and the transfer date, used only to match payments.
Online agreement signing: the signer’s name, time and IP address, kept as a record of signing.

Where and how long we keep it

Data is stored with Cloudflare’s cloud services, and emails are sent through Resend. Booking and order data is kept for 5 years after the transaction for accounting and legal requirements. If an exhibition application doesn’t go ahead, its files are deleted within 6 months.

What we won’t do

We never sell or rent your data or use it for advertising. We don’t share it with anyone except the service providers above or where the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to look up, view, copy, correct, stop using or delete your data (except transaction records we are legally required to keep). Just email shanjiu@39cafe.tw or call us. Without the necessary data, we may not be able to complete your booking or order.

Cookie

The website uses one essential cookie only to keep you signed in when you look up bookings. Your bag is stored only in your own browser. We use no tracking or advertising cookies.
